Trilingual EQ Readers for Children

課程目的
Course Aims

由於社會愈趨關注學前兒童的情商（EQ）發展，有見及此，WIT童天教育及香港中文大學兒童雙語研究中心的專家團隊與教育機構EVIGarten合作，使用優質的兩文三語兒童情商故事書，以輕鬆有趣的形式和小朋友説故事。家長和小朋友可透過本系列，一起探索情商的重要性、學習如何面對逆境和各種挑戰，同時讓家長幫助小朋友輕鬆提升兩文三語的能力。

With our society becoming more concerned with developing pre-school children’s emotional intelligence (also known as Emotional Quotient, i.e. EQ), our team of experts in WIT and Childhood Bilingualism Research Centre (CBRC) at CUHK have collaborated with EVIGarten to create high quality trilingual EQ readers and interesting stories for children to enjoy in a relaxing way. This course can help parents and children appreciate the importance of EQ, enable children to deal with adversity and challenges, as well as improve their trilingual language skills.

幼兒版 For Children:

Carleon Mendoza 老師喜愛以生動活潑的形式與小朋友分享故事。他對語言有濃厚興趣，能說流利廣東話、英文、他加祿語等。現正於香港中文大學修讀語言學博士課程。

Mr Carleon Mendoza loves to tell stories to children in a lively manner. He is also interested in languages, and can speak Cantonese, English, Tagalog and other languages fluently. He is now a PhD student at the Department of Linguistics and Modern Languages at CUHK.

家長版 For Parents:

Danielle Lung 老師有一個很可愛的小女兒。她平日喜愛向她女兒說故事，以增進親子關係及提升她女兒的語文能力。現正於香港中文大學修讀語言學博士課程。

Ms Danielle Lung has a lovely daughter whom she loves telling stories to. Telling stories helps them strengthen their parent-child relationship and improves her child’s language skills. She is now a PhD student at the Department of Linguistics and Modern Languages at CUHK.
