Teacher Training on Childhood Bilingualism
兒童雙語：教師培訓課程
Childhood Bilingualism Research Centre and WIT have built partnerships with schools and organizations and provided teaching training by offering an online CPD course. Drawing on current research on childhood bilingualism, our course allows teachers and educators to gain a deeper understanding of how bilingualism develops in early childhood, equipping them with research-based concepts and tools to nurture bilingual children and assess their language development.

Different modules in the teacher training course contains content such as:
- bilingualism and child second language acquisition;
- effective models and strategies in bilingual education;
- cross-linguistic influence and language mixing, and;
- assessing and nurturing bilingual children.
With a focus on fostering collaboration between parents and educators, our course aims to equip participants with valuable insights and research-based approaches to support children’s bilingual development.
